We are seeking to immediately recruit a Data and Operations Executive as part of our growing team. As the Data and Operations Executive, you will be a key member of our operations team, responsible to ensure constant oversight and effective coordination of all necessary operational activities of our investment advisory company.

The position reports to the Operations Manager and is a full-time position. The role requires the selected candidate to operate onsite during office hours, due to the nature of the business. Occasional flexible work arrangements may be discussed; however, the norm will be operating from our offices in Floriana (Malta).

Key Responsibilities

Data Processes:

• Execute daily data tasks for internal and external projects.

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency in company and client databases.

• Serve as a data quality controller, communicating with relevant parties for project data.

• Document processes and develop data management guidelines, complying with legal standards.

• Implement safety measures for sensitive data and issue data reports.

• Manage data, including database development and backups.

• Collaborate across departments to address data-related issues.

• Support key performance indicator measurement and data reconciliation.

• Create and manage data storage systems and assist in software development.

Daily Operations:

• Oversee operational processes for efficiency and compliance.

• Attend business meetings, document minutes, and provide immediate documentation.

• Contribute to operational policy development.

• Assist in maintaining operational systems and tools.

• Prepare operational reports and stay updated on industry trends.

• Provide recommendations for operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, data science, or related field.

• 1+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of business dynamics, project management, regulations, and emerging technologies.

• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

• IT proficiency in client/data management systems, project management tools, Power BI, and other software.

• Analytical mindset with proficiency in data review and reporting using Microsoft applications.

• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to data security.

• Knowledge of investment advisory operations is a plus.
